Painter of landscapes in oil and watercolour, born
in Gateshead, the son of Wilson Hepple and grandfather of Norman Hepple.
An amateur artist, he became a teacher of English at a technical school
in Newcastle and painted in his spare time. There is no record of J.W.
Hepple having exhibited his work.
