Originals plastics usually have finer detail and blend better with other original plastics
(clear areas on originals have often yellowed a little )

Reproduction plastics are usually slightly inferior to originals, have less detail, but do blend better with other repro plastics.
Repros sometimes have slightly different colours, as exact matches to originals is not possible any more.

I personally prefer originals on my machines if I can get them.
