Rare 20 Pc PETRUS REGOUT MAASTRICHT HOLLAND China 4 Place Settings #483 Mid-Century. This very hard to find pattern features red flowers, blue leaves, and green plants. The set includes four (4) 9-1/2” luncheon plates, 4 bread plates, 4 cereal bowls, and 4 cups/4 saucers. I looked on replacements.com and they don’t have any listing for a dinner plate so either they’re that rare or they really only made them in the 9 1/2 inch size. They don’t have the small bowls I have listed either. These dishes have definitely been pre-loved, you can see utensil marks on all the plates. But there are no chips or cracks that I have noticed. One cup does have one line of crazing near the rim, but that is all I saw. There are some imperfections here, and there on the under sides, and maybe a little bit of paint that wore off at the rims of a couple plates, but they are otherwise in nice pre-loved condition. These pretty plates were made by The Royal Sphinx pottery of Maastricht Holland, the company was founded by Petrus Regout in 1834 and sold to a Swedish company in 1994, the Sphinx image was first used in 1879, the plates are hand painted. According to my research, this stamp dates these plates between 1935-1955. They will be packed securely for safe arrival. I have a few other matching miscellaneous pieces listed as well. I’m happy to combine shipping if you would like any of those.
