Vintage Razor Sharpener Bakelite German Klingenscharfer Sieger 1940-50s

German machine "Klingenscharfer Sieger" for sharpening blades. As a rule, field conditions did not allow getting new blades. In this case, the device for their sharpening rescued. The principle of operation of the machine is simple - we put a blunt blade into the machine, close the lid and pull the cord to the side. Inside the machine, the blade, put on the guide columns, under the action of a moving cord, with the help of an eccentric, sets in motion and rubs against the green diamond-shaped spring-loaded pads. With this friction, the blade sharpens. The device is in good working condition, bakelite case, all that remains of the original box can be seen in the photo, the bottom of the box is missing.
