Rubix22 is a 2-in/2-out USB 2.0 audio interface supporting up to 24bit/192kHz that concentrates the essence of Roland's audio interface tradition. The compact metal body offers a wide range of functions for various situations, including input/output terminals compatible with a variety of musical instruments and audio equipment, a thoroughly low-noise design from input to output, and a highly visible indicator. Whether for PC-based music production, audio playback, or mobile recording using an iPad/iPhone (Apple iOS 9 or later), this unit delivers studio-class sound in any environment.

Newly developed high-quality preamplifier supporting 24bit/192kHz

Rubix22 is a USB audio interface that supports high-resolution quality 24bit/192kHz input/output with high cost performance. A newly developed microphone preamp with a wide dynamic range and low noise, combined with a 24-bit A/D converter, delivers clear and extended sound. A headphone jack with independent volume control is also provided on the front panel.

XLR combo jacks, impedance-balanced outputs, and ground lift support

The two inputs are XLR combo jacks. These jacks can be used to connect phantom-powered condenser microphones, dynamic microphones, guitars, basses, audio players, and a variety of other devices. The outputs are impedance-balanced via standard TRS jacks, which prevents noise from entering even when long cables are connected. In addition, all output terminals can be ground-lifted to eliminate noise caused by ground loops. In addition to the shielding provided by the metal body, the ground lines for the analog and digital sections are separated to ensure a low-noise design.

USB class compliant for iPad/iPhone

The driver installation process, which tends to be troublesome and unsuccessful during the initial setup, is no longer necessary*.

Mac and iPad/iPhone can be used as USB Audio Device Class 2.0 compliant devices without driver installation.

USB class compliant devices can be used in a variety of situations, from full-scale music production on a PC to mobile recording, multimedia, and Internet distribution using an iPad/iPhone.

Driver installation is required for Windows.

Apple connection accessories are required for connection to the iPad/iPhone.

Equipped with MIDI IN/OUT

MIDI in/out jacks are also provided, allowing connection of electronic instruments that do not have USB ports. Most electronic instruments can be connected, including electronic pianos, keyboards, and older synthesizers.
