Selecting the right Graph Tech XL slotted nut for your guitar:

1. Measure the length, thickness and height (highest portion) of your guitar's current nut.
2. The length, thickness and height of the nut you purchase should be the same or slightly larger than your guitar's current nut (Graph Tech® purposely makes them just a bit oversized so you can sand the nut to "sneak up" on the exact final dimensions).
3. If you are buying a slotted nut, measure your guitar's current nut string spacing (outermost strings, center of slot to center of slot) and make sure the nut you are buying is the same or close.
4. The 6643-00 is the perfect option to replace and upgrade the nut on your acoustic or electric guitar.
5. It is pre-slotted to make for a quick and easy install.
