This little set features hand assembled and hand painted little bunnies, painting eggs, with little flowered trees.  They sit on a natural wood base that "expands", like an accordion.  This type of ornament was really popular in the 1950's; I have seen them with all the holidays - but primarily Easter and Christmas.

They are hard to find, because they are fragile, made from inexpensive raw materials.  The little pieces are fairly easy to remove - each one has a tiny nail with glue that attaches it to the base.  Kids are fascinated by these, and they often remove the pieces, or the pieces fall off over the years.

This one is in good, vintage condition.  It has age related flaws, but noting significant.  It has great patina - the aged look things get over time.  The natural wood base has darkened over the years, and the paint on the face of the pink bunny is chipped.  The paint is chipped on the back of the trees, and on the top of the center tree.

It is a beautiful piece, that shows it's age in a good way.  It is 7 3/4" long when expanded, and it stands 3" tall.  The bunnies are about 1 3/4" tall.
