This is a real authentic Traxxas body painted with Tamiya PS black and silver aluminum, but many other colors are available by using eBay's Make Offer button.

As you may know, most types of paint come right off rc bodies after a bit of use. So it's important to understand exactly what you're buying when shopping for one. Short and nonexistent descriptions should be a red flag or lead to questions, unless the paint staying on doesn't matter.

As shown, there are no stickers on this body at all. So you have the freedom to add the brand new included decals however you prefer or keep it clean.

Be aware that some sellers are selling fake Traxxas bodies, fakes Pro-Line bodies, and others. Some are printed by a machine and some could be painted with regular budget paint which isn't designed for RC bodies. They also could be thinner or more fragile to keep cost low. The well-known American name brand bodies available here unfortunately do not cost the price of a plastic sheet like certain unbranded bodies. The paint isn't cheap either as shown. Look for official packaging included if you care about getting the real deal and supporting the companies that actually put the work into creating the original bodies.

The last picture shows just one of the many optional lower priced bodies available with eBay's offer button. It happens to be PS gun metal, but other colors can be chosen, as well as different bodies.

*Note: With buy it now, this is very shiny black. Every little thing tends to show up on it, like fingerprints and dust etc. There may be some remnants of the peel coat left. If your receiver antenna is long, you may need to make a hole for it.

You will need the clipless plastic cage to use this.

In general, I prefer to buy bodies without stickers applied. Therefore, this includes brand new and unused Rustler 4x4 vxl, grill, light, and window decals.

Don't like sticker windows or rainbow colors? You're in luck.

This is one Traxxas body with a custom paint job (black with clear windows and silver trim) for the 4x4 Rustler VXL or XL-5. Marked used because it will be painted and removed from the sealed bag it came in. It's an authentic item, not fake like some other bodies being sold on ebay.

Unlike some other sellers, I only use RC paints. Body colors provided by Tamiya PS.

Different colors are optional with eBay's Make Offer button. The inside will be black because bodies look the best that way, especially with clear windows. If you would prefer raw paint instead of that coating, let me know.

The paint job may not be flawless. This will be painted by a human, not a machine. Painted with RC specific paint and then backed with a flexible coating to try and protect the paint. Top protective peel coat removed and ready for decals. Paint could come off if the body takes a hit or is used for bashing. However this brand has a good reputation. Some even claim it's the best. Needless to say, bashing in the cold is asking for problems.

You can use Make Offer if you want different colors.

The price is based partly on the cost of the body, the various paints (some over $25 each), the masking, and the time it takes to complete (labor). On top of all that, it unfortunately must be increased to cover what will be lost to fees when sold, which will be over $12 as it is. And unlike some other sellers, I do not sell fake or knockoff bodies, so that's part of it as well. EBay may offer a good buyer discount though.

Most can disregard this message. However, for less than 1% of buyers out there, make sure you don't have problems receiving mail. If you do, like a full mailbox or tendency to reject packages for example, pick the item up from the shipping company quickly. There is a 20% restocking fee on all items that come back and original shipping cost will be lost.

Also, and this is extremely rare. But if something serious happens to the item in transit and you may not feel like messaging me or following the directions of the shipping company (not ebay) in order to solve the problem, then buy from a different seller.

Finally, to reiterate, make sure you 100% want the item before clicking and your address is 100% correct.
