TASCAM 202MKVII Professional Double Cassette Player

The TASCAM 202MKVII is equipped with two record/playback mechanisms that employ a stable and durable one-way IC logic transport control. The TASCAM 202MKVII is a professional-use double cassette deck equipped with many convenient functions for operation in facilities and acoustic environments.

This double cassette deck is the successor to the TASCAM 202MKVI.

Playback is possible while switching between two cassettes.

The TASCAM 202MKVI is equipped with two independent cassette mechanisms, making it possible to swap the cassette of TAPE 2 while playing TAPE 1 to prepare for the next track.

Noise reduction function to reduce hiss noise during playback

The "NOISE REDUCTION" function reduces the hissing noise that occurs during tape playback.

This function is effective when playing back tapes recorded with Dolby B noise reduction.

■ Convenient microphone input and mixing functions for karaoke and announcement applications

A microphone input convenient for karaoke and announcement applications is provided on the front panel. The sound played back on TAPE 1 (or TAPE 2) can be mixed with the sound from the microphone input and recorded on TAPE 2 (or TAPE 1), making it possible to record karaoke using your own tape material. It is also possible to mix the sound input from the RCA pin jack inputs with the sound input from the microphone inputs. Each input level can be adjusted individually.

In addition, TAPE1 has a pitch control function that is useful for karaoke applications.

Simultaneous recording function to reduce the time and effort of cassette duplication

Audio from an externally connected device can be simultaneously recorded to two cassettes, TAPE1 and TAPE2. This function allows the user to create a master tape and a tape for distribution at the same time, for example, when it is necessary to distribute the tape after recording.

Timer playback/recording function that enables playback or recording at power-on in conjunction with a commercially available timer.

RETURN TO ZERO function to locate the tape counter to 0000.

Repeat playback function (play between A and B 20 times and stop)

Pitch control function with +/-12% for karaoke (playback only)

USB digital output. Digital archiving of cassette tapes is possible.
