This porcelain plate was produced in England by Mintons in the 1890s.  The plate was produced especially for Tiffany in New York.  It is signed by the renowned artist, Antonin Boullimier.  The plate measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter.  It is made of fine, white bone china and has a handsome reticulated border.  The center of the plate has a scene of a young maiden holding a little bird in her hand.  The young woman is exquisitely painted with fine detail. A splendid cartouche of raised gold frames the scene.  The reticulated border is accented with rich, raised gilding.  The apple green ground contrasts beautifully against the gilding and completes the beautiful artistry.  #E302
