Taylor K22ce V-Class

K22ce is a rare Hawaiian koa body model with a small and easy-to-handle grand concert cutaway shape. The wood is made of koa wood, which has a strong core, glossy mid-high range, and a slightly withered tone that is also appealing. The V-Class bracing, originally developed by Taylor, adds a clear and rich resonance to the sound, and the sound is more delicate and mellow.

The black graphite nut is a distinctive feature, but other external specifications are the same as the previous model, including the Spring Vine fingerboard inlay and wood binding, which match well with the exotic Hawaiian koa wood, and the woody, austere, unique look is still there. The pickup system includes Sound Quality pickups.

The pickup system is equipped with the ES2 system, which is known for its high sound quality. The pickups are located behind the saddle at the bridge and produce a clearer and more contoured sound.

The ES2 system, which is the culmination of Taylor's unique technology, and the highly playable body shape make this model easy to handle for an all-core guitar, and the new V-Class bracing gives it a more subtle and rich sound.

The V-Class bracing, which was the center of attention at Winter 2018 NAMM, is a completely new bracing pattern developed by Taylor's young master builder, Andy Powers, and is attracting attention for its innovative thinking and quality tone.

The X bracing has long been a staple of acoustic guitars and is still used on many guitars today, including other Taylor guitars, but the new V-Class bracing is a completely new concept, seeking more volume and longer sustain to suit the modern music scene. The new V-Class bracing was developed by Andy Powers in search of new possibilities. The bracing pattern was designed to allow the string vibrations to be transmitted throughout the top without loss, thereby increasing the volume and sustain, as well as intonation accuracy. The new Taylor has a new dimension of sound that is richer, clearer, and more sensitive to delicate picking nuances, while maintaining the basic performance of maintaining top strength.
