HEUER MONTE-CARLO DASHBOARD TIMER MODEL

This particular unused Monte-Carlo requires the screw behind crystal at 45 be accessed and reinstalled.  Cannot be accessed from back of watch to best of my understanding.  This was attempted at watch repair store.  The two screws on backing plate were removed; one was lost, and the other is held in small bag.  So, this will need face screw at 45 behind crystal accessed and reinstalled, a matching screw for the back cover of watch with the one retained, and both screwed in.  Please view photographs and ask questions if this is not fully comprehended.

This may be incorrect, but believe watch face is most easily accessed through removal of poly-crystal by clipping bezel, normally at zero or top, and reattaching.  Have had couple with firmly turning bezel and solid adhesion, but imperfect appearance where cut.  An individual skilled at cutting and re-attaching or adhering is advised.

Rare classic rallye timer.  Very attractive black and white spartan design.  Beautifully smooth and precise movement with 7 jewels and shock-protection.  Crisp start/stop/restart crown and perfect return or reset button.  Features sixty second sweep, sixty-minute hand over black dial with Arabic numerals.  Firm, smoothly rotating, uni-directional 60 minute bezel with pointer.  Jumping measurement of hours in window from 0 to 11 hours 59 minutes and then returning to zero.  Includes rare near fine original box, mounting bracket and hardware, manual and warranty booklet.

From vintage Heuer catalogue: "1/5 second recorder, large hand registers 0-60 minutes, jumping hour disc show 0-12 hours, 2 crown functions with time-out and locked return of hands and disc, turning bezel with reverse division 60-0.  Precision lever movement, 7 jewels, shock protected."

Tested and maintains time well; does get hung up on loose screw if it is not in cavity of jumping hour disc.  Features high impact case with quick release attached to bracket for mounting.  Excellent example of Swiss watchmaking.  This timer is a product of TAG Heuer SA, Switzerland's largest manufacturer of stopwatches and chronographs.  As shown.  Sold as is with screw installation required.  Insured post.
