Shop of Tashiro Shoten.

Tashiro Shoten Ltd was  porcelain shop in Yokohama.

The company also had a porcelain factory in Nagoya, Japan. It was in business before World War II.

The use of the word "Shoten" indicates the name for a shop which is selling products from its own kiln.

From 1921-1941, wares from Japan exported to the United States had to be marked "Japan" or "Made in Japan".
