After the departure of guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, the band toured with Joe Satriani, and then welcomed Steve Morse, formerly of the Dixie Dogs and Kansas, as an official member of the band, for their 15th album.
Mose, who has different qualities from Blackmore and is also a technician, contributed a lot to this album and breathed fresh life into the band.
This is a brilliant revival that succeeds in breaking away from hard rock as a stylistic beauty.
