Featured in this auction is a sweet, miniature antique Rookwood Pottery cabinet bowl.  This piece has a beautiful, arts-and-crafts leaves-and-berries motif encircling the bowl.  The bowl is in excellent, near-mint condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs.  The piece is just under 2" tall and 4-1/4" wide at the shoulder, and 3-1/2" wide at the mouth.  The base of the pottery is stamped with the Rookwood Pottery flame mark, the shape number 2099 and the production year XXIII (1923).  Stilt marks are visible.  This gorgeous glaze is a matte, deep-blue drip glaze that has curdled beautifully on the bowl.  The glaze drip has pooled both inside the piece and where it was ground flat on the base.  The bowl is very clean both inside and out and is presumed to have been gently used.  Check out all 8 photos!  This special little cabinet piece would be perfect for any Rookwood or American art pottery collector.  Check out my other pottery listings!
