This mug commemorates the locomotive that was built in 1944 in Montreal, Canada as a prototype of the Canadian National Railway's "Mountain Types". This locomotive pulled mainline passenger trains until 1959 when it was retired. CN restored it to operating condition for excursion service in 1971. This is just a small part of the history of this locomotive. Currently this locomotive is being overhauled.
