This listing is for an Andy Warhol Alice B Shoe purse, issued by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts in 2000. The bag has never been used and comes with its original tag attached.

This shoe purse is based on Warhol’s advertising drawing “The Autobiography of Alice B. Shoe” from 1953. The drawings were exhibited in 1956. The tag attached to the purse tells the story.

The purse is made of bright pink velvet, with a grosgrain ribbon on the front. It measures about 11” from heel to toe, and 4 3/4” at its widest. The cord strap hangs down about 20”.
