24" long garden auger for drilling 2-3/4" diameter holes in soil. It can also be used for mixing liquids or loose solids. The 24" length means less bending over while drilling. Distance from center of shaft to outside of fin (the radius) is 1-3/8", so the diameter is twice that, or 2-3/4" (see photo 4). Fins are welded to the shaft and cover 8" of the total length. Shaft is 5/16" diameter. Fins are approximately 1/16" thick.
