Condition is good. No writing on pages, no tears or folds.

- Some minor tearing of front and back hinge joints
- Library sticker and writing inside front cover.
- Writing inside back cover.
- Embossed stamp of bookseller on inner front endsheet.
- Tissue paper cover for the first illustration is stained.
- Table of contents and first page of text (p 7) also have some stain spots
