Icom IC-706 mkII  Replacement electrolytic capacitors, complete kit.

(All the capacitors come from Panasonic,Rubycon,Nichicon,NCC)


This is a set of high reliability aluminium SMD and radial electrolytics to replace parts in the IC-706 mkII.

Some of original parts used in this rig are marginally rated and are prone to leakage of electrolyte, in particular the capacitors in the audio output stages and power amplifier decoupling, both these areas run very hot.

The Panasonic electrolytic capacitors supplied in this kit are the same diameter and lead pitch/pad spacing  as the original parts used, the modern replacements are generally of reduced height.

The majority of parts in this kit have a higher voltage rating, All parts supplied have a higher working temperature of 105 deg C and reliabilty ratings >2000hr.

The 3mm 10uF 16V 'A' parts for the PLL are correct, 4mm parts will not fit.
