Beautiful vintage Asian Japanese Lucky Gods, hand carved from red Shou Shan stone ware. 

Made in Japan.

(Shou Shan stone is a kind of alabaster. With a soft, smooth surface this stone makes an ideal material for carving).

Bishamonten – is the Japanese Buddhist God of warriors and the lord of wealth and treasure.

Daikoku – is originally a Hindu God, the God of agriculture, prosperity and commerce.

Fukurokuju – the God of wisdom, good fortune, and longevity, from Chinese Taoist-Buddhist traditions. (Deer)Hotei – the God of happiness and good fortune, from Chinese Taoist-Buddhist traditions. (Ogi-fan).

The Deer held by Fukurokuji has one little horn broken off. Please see picture. The rest of the figurines/statues in very good condition. No chips, no cracks, no scratches.
