NOS! Vintage MCM Polished Stainless Surface Mount Bathroom Utility Hook, Bobrick B-218

This listing is for a new, old stock Bobrick Bathroom Utility Hook, Model B-218.  The high-quality, vintage bathroom hook dates to the 1950’s and 1960’s and was manufactured in the USA by Bobrick Washroom Equipment.  This commercial utility hook resembles the current Model B-670.  The backplate of this mid-century modern measures approximately 2 5/8” wide by 1 13/16” tall and is more rounded and sloped than the current model.  The hook projects about 1 7/16” from the wall and is about ½” wide and 1” deep before it bends upward.  A substantial hook weighing over 4 ounces, the manufacturer suggests it being used for robes, handbags, coats, and other heavyweight items.  The set screw on the underside of the MCM bathroom accessory is loosened to access mounting bracket which attaches to the wall with the two (2) supplied screws (anchors are recommended).  This commercial, bright-polished hook is in like new condition despite being over 50 years old.  These retro hooks come from a master carton of four hooks, wrapped loosely in plain paper.  They will be carefully wrapped and packed to make sure they arrive in the near-perfect condition they are in.  A great addition to any room, perfect for the mid-century modern bathroom or the ultra-modern kitchen!  Buy 2 for less than $30 while they last!

The packaging for the vintage Hall-Mack bathroom accessory is old and worn.  Many of the boxes were covered in a thick layer of dust.  The cardboard and other packaging material is often yellowed, brittle, and stained.  Each box is opened prior to shipping to inspect the bathroom fixture which often results in torn flaps and ripped paper despite best efforts to do no damage.  Thank you for your understanding!
