This torso is found on the very rare Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive "Spider-Man in Black Symbiote Costume" Minifigure. The figure was given out as a promo to 2012 Comic-Con attendees and only a few hundred of these figures are known to exist. HOWEVER, ONLY THE HEADPIECE IS RARE. The torso piece found in this auction listing is VERY COMMON as it was re-issued on two separate VENOM Minifigures in 2013 & 2014 (part #973pb1622c01). These torso pieces can be easily found in very good condition on the Bricklink website for only a couple of dollars.

Do yourself a favor and buy this torso from a reputable reseller on Bricklink or here on eBay that are listing this piece honestly. If you are looking for a good reproduction headpiece to go along with it, Firestar Toys sells some very nice custom printed ones for less than $4 apiece. Please be wary of eBay sellers who are offering a Black Symbiote Sider-Man Minifigure with a "custom printed" (or simply a "printed" head) on authentic or "real" Lego parts, as the head piece that they are offering is the exact Firestar Toys custom piece that you can purchase on your own for $4 (or in a three pack of different designs for $11).
