Collection of Items

Collection Our eBay items are usually collection only. However, please enquire before bidding/buying to see if we can deliver, especially if you are within our catchment area (Mid-Cheshire area). If you are within our catchment area, then delivery will be £20 extra. If you are not within our catchment area, but are in the Cheshire area we may be able to arrange delivery for a fee, subject to management authorisation, please enquire before purchasing. Courier Collection We do not have the facilities to re-package and professionally weigh products and we do therefore not support courier requests.

Auctions You can usually collect your item the same day as the auction/listing ends, as long as the PayPal payment was successful or you're willing to pay by cash or by debit/credit card on collection at our store.

Collection Availability Please be aware that some items are stored away in our warehouse, and we may need time to move the item out, especially if you intend to collect or view on a Saturday. Please note that if you intend to collect a heavy item on a Saturday, e.g. a washing machine, please ensure you have your own help to load the item into your vehicle, as we can't guarantee there will any warehouse staff available.

Typically, we are open Monday – Saturday 9:00am – 4:30pm. Our eBay department work Monday – Friday and eBay messages will not be monitored during Saturdays. Please enquire and book in a collection beforehand to avoid disappointment. When planning to collect an item after buying it, please let us know at least 24 hours beforehand what time and day you are likely to come to our store. This enables us to get the item ready and to process your receipt quickly for you. If you do not inform us when you are likely to arrive, and come unannounced, it may not be possible for you to collect or view an item on the day you arrive. Also, please check our opening times before collecting or viewing. Please allow up to 1 business day for an e-mail reply.

Methods of Payment

Payment can be made through our eBay store with PayPal. Orders will be cancelled after 24 hours if payment has not been made through PayPal.

You can also pay the advertised store cash or debit/credit card (contactless payment preferred) when collecting the item.

If you fail to collect your item within 2 weeks, we will cancel your order. If payment has been already made through PayPal, you will be refunded.

Warranty & Returns

Large domestic appliances, cookers and refrigeration items are guaranteed for a period of 6 months and all other electrical items are guaranteed for 30 days, as long as they have been installed correctly, used in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and have not suffered accidental damage. If a customer chooses to transport the goods themselves, they risk negating the guarantee; any damage which occurs in transit in a customers own vehicle will not be covered by the guarantee. If the item is taken by a customer, it is the customers responsibility to return the item.

If an electric item is faulty within the guarantee period, we will endeavour to repair the fault. If the item is deemed to be not repairable, then a replacement item of a similar standard will be provided. The guarantee on the replacement will run from the time the original item was purchased. Refunds would only be available in rare circumstances and only be at the discretion of CLT.

Any furniture returns that does not come under eBay's Money Back Guarantee policy may incur a £15 administration charge, please make sure to take proper measurements before purchasing the item.

A refund under the warranty will only be given if the goods are found to be faulty or not fit for purpose as per the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Any damage or fault found on items purchased from us must be reported to the place it was purchased within 24 hours of receipt (or in the case of refrigeration 24 hours after being switched on).

If we are asked to check out a fault within the guarantee period, and there is no fault on the item, we reserve the right to make a service charge of £10 per hour. These charges will be rounded up to the nearest hour and will be a minimum of one hour.
