Based on the symmetrical and direct "ToP-ART" design concept, which preserves the purity of music signals and accurate stereo imaging, this amplifier pursues the solid musicality and unadorned beauty that only Yamaha can offer as a tool for listening to music. The A-S301 is a basic pre-main amplifier. The A-S301 features a power amplifier with a linear damping circuit that boasts a generous 60W x 2 rated output power and drivability that does not restrict the choice of speakers, six analog audio inputs including a Phono (MM) terminal for record players, and a 192kHz/24bit D/A converter that accepts optical and coaxial digital audio. "ToP-ART" (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) is a circuit layout that focuses on symmetrical (left-right symmetrical construction) and direct (straightening and shortening the signal path). Pure direct switch to enhance sound purity

Optical/Coaxial Digital Input with 192kHz/24bit Support

The unit is equipped with optical/coaxial digital audio inputs supporting up to 192 kHz/24-bit, allowing you to easily enhance the sound quality of various sources by connecting the digital audio outputs of not only audio equipment such as CD/DVD players, but also TVs, video game consoles, PCs, and other equipment used near the audio system.
