■Sound Marker Function
Built-in sound marker function to output tone signal at REC start/stop, which is convenient for video/audio alignment, and test tone function to smoothly adjust audio input level on camera side.
■Limiter, Low Cut Filter
It is equipped with a limiter function to prevent sound cracking due to sudden loud noise and a low-cut filter to reduce low-frequency noise such as air conditioning and wind noise.
■Three power options
2 AAA alkaline batteries provide about 6.5 hours of continuous recording, while lithium batteries provide about 11 hours of continuous recording (when using shotgun microphones). It is also powered by the optional AD -17 AC adapter or USB bus power.
