This quick release mount uses ultra high-strength pins to secure an upper bracket (bolted to the RTT rail) and lower bracket (bolted to the roof rack crossbars) together...thereby securing the tent to the rack. Rooftop tent users no longer have to waste hours reaching between the bottom of a rooftop tent and the top, sharp edge of a roof rack!
