This small square mango wood trinket / storage box has an unusual hand-carved "Tree of Life" design on the removable lid.

The mango tree is fast growing and found throughout India and is constantly re-planted to provide fruit and wood.

When the tree becomes old, the fruits are no longer suitable for commercial use and the wood is then harvested and replaced with young trees.

This harvested wood  provides the mango farmers with an additional income.

The internal measurements are  7.5 cm square  x  4.5 cm in height approximately.

A wax polish can be used.

Do not use a silicone spray cleaner.
