  - XXSm  3/4" approx.

  - XXXSm  3/8" approx.

Small Stones 1 - 2lbs / 6" x 4" x 3.5" approx.

Medium Stones 2 - 6lbs / 8" x 6" x 4.5" approx.

Large Stones 6 - 11lbs / 11" x 8" x 6" approx.

Mix Size 0.5 - 11 lbs / mixture of small, medium and large stones

IMPORTANT NOTE: All weights are approximate and each piece may very in size and weight. Please note that it is impossible to find stones that have the even weight, so extra small size stones can be expected in each order to make up the remaining weight. For example, if a 2 lbs small size stone order is placed, we would normally include 3-4 pieces of small size stone that adds up to close to 2 lbs and one to two pieces of extra small size stone to make up the remaining weight. We strongly encourage to save the extra-small pieces to be used in detailing for aquascaping projects.

-  Unlike seiryu stones or elephant skin stone, black lava rock does not alter water pH and GH.

-  They are completely safe for Red Cherry Shrimp, Ghost/Glass Shrimp, and Amano Shrimp.

-  Black lava rock is a beautiful and classic aquascaping rock that provides a beautiful contrast with lush green aquarium plants.  This beautifully textured rock is very light and porous, making it ideal for attaching plants like moss, Anubias and Java Fern. The porosity of the rock also makes it ideal for housing beneficial bacteria which are great for high flow aquariums!
