Commodore Amiga RGB Video converter/adaptor for HDMI/DVI input displays (with input cable)

Description:


Take the RGB output from a Commodore Amiga and using the adaptor input to an HDMI or DVI Monitor or TV. Play "The Secret of Monkey Island" or any other game on your TV or monitor!

Uses the Commodore Amigas RGB output for the the best possible picture (works with both PAL and NTSC Amigas), and in flicker free colour!
Selectable output modes of 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1280x720 or 1920x1080. Audio is output to a displays HDMI input and also 3.5mm audio jack (for if your monitor does not support audio over HDMI), and as digital audio via a phono connector.

Suitable for any LCD that has an HDMI or DVI input (The most common on new monitors). On widescreen LCD monitors due to the aspect ratio of the monitor there may be stretching of the picture.

The item has been tested with an Amiga and gave an excellent display (see photos).

Supplied:
  • Commodore Amiga RGB adaptor with connection to a display's HDMI or DVI-D input
  • Cable from the Amiga 23 pin D-Type connector to adaptor
  • PSU, 110-240V to 5V 1A, we will supply either the correct PSU for your region or an adaptor (depending on stock levels).

HDMI cable not included but can be supplied. Please enquire for price dependant on type and length required i.e. HDMI-HDMI or HDMI to DVI, 1m, 1,5m, 2m, 3m or 5m.

The unit is not cheap as the electronics digitises each input frame, its video output system then outputs each frame digitally in SVGA/XGA or WXGA format

Audio Output: Digital coaxial audio, analogue stereo audio

Note: The Amiga uses a 23way D type connector, 23way sockets are no longer manufactured so we use 25way sockets that have been carefully trimmed to fit the 23way plug on the Amiga, as shown in the photo. This means that the connector can't be screwed into place but this shouldn't cause a problem.
