- Driftwood is a very dense, dark colored wood. It will normally sink immediately in your tank but will sometimes need to be soaked in order to become water saturated. The wood is extremely hard and will not rot like regular driftwood. Use Weathered Driftwood to add visual interest, increase architectural structure, or to provide shelter and cover for aquarium inhabitants.

- Boiling the wood is recommended to kill possible pest and bacteria prior adding into the aquarium

- This wood will release tannins into the water, regular water change can eliminate brownish water color over time or use Seachem Purigen. Wood can lower water pH over time, if your livestock prefers high pH, hard water environment, please research before adding wood in the tank.

- We also sell bog wood, dragon wood, and spider wood in our store
