Standard mode perfectly reproduces the tone and response of the original HM-2. By setting all the knobs to the maximum value, that "chainsaw tone" will sound. On the other hand, we have made improvements using modern technology everywhere. The maximum value of LEVEL has been increased by 3 dB while reducing floor noise. In addition, by installing a premium buffer, we are particular about the pure guitar sound at the time of bypass. The HM-2W has thoroughly refined the basic performance of the pedal without compromising the original characteristics.

Custom mode: For more aggressive distortion

In custom mode, you can get more aggressive distortion while preserving the character in standard mode. By specially tuning the gain circuit, the sharpness and attack of the sound are emphasized while obtaining even stronger distortion. The low and mid-high range characteristics have also been readjusted to create a sound that combines high density and clarity.
