This 1971 silkscreen by Eduardo Vera Cortes was created for an 18-minute film about the San Blas Marathon in Coamo, Puerto Rico. The film was sponsored by the Division for Community Education of the government of Puerto Rico.

The poster is in good condition ---colors and paper strong, no holes or folds. There are a few small age spots on both sides of the white border (See photos) and a slight three-inch discoloration top right of green background under letter "o" (See photo).   There's a light horizontal crease along  the lower part near the foot (See photos), but it does not damage the piece and will be undetectable when flattened upon framing. Age spots in back that do not penetrate front (See photo). The work has never been used and is signed on the plate by the artist (See photo).

Vera Cortes was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico in 1926 and died in 2006. He was a graphic artist, illustrator and sculptor. He was one of the venerated artists belonging to Puerto Rico's "Fifties Generation."
