Condition Guide

At Red Hart Games, we pride ourselves on our ability to accurately share conditions of card(s) that our buyer wish to purchase from us. We always use images of our own cards and not stock so you know what you will be receiving when you opt to purchase cards from us.

Near Mint (NM): Near Mint is the highest grade we can give to cards, these cards are as close to fresh out of a booster pack you can get! There is no whiting, scratches or corner damage on cards we grade at this level. Sometimes we do have a rare occasion where older cards might be near mint on the back, but the holo might have a few minute scratches, in these cases, we outline this on our listings.

Excellent (EX): The second highest grade we offer our cards, excellent cards usually may have minor whiting or edgewear on the corners of them. With older cards that are reverse holo or holo, this can also include warping. These cards still will look amazing for collections and are legal for tournament play.

Played (PL): Played is the third highest grade we offer on our cards, these usually do have more prominent whiting and edgewear damage on the back as well as moderate nicks/dings or impressions on them. Played cards are still legal for tournament use, but we would advise in our listings if they were not.

Damaged (DA): Damaged is the lowest grade we offer on cards sold through our store, it is very rare that we stock cards in this condition as we only want to provide the very best for our customers. Damaged cards are not legal for tournament play and often have water damage, large creases, writing/ink stains on them, corners peeling or other compromising flaws.

PLEASE NOTE: Every store/seller is different with their grading criteria they use on their card listings, our system will be different to others so please bear this in mind when purchasing from us.

Payment	Payment is due within two (2) days of you winning an auction or committing to purchase an item through Buy It Now, if you fail to pay in this timeframe the item(s) you attempted to purchase will be relisted for other buyers to purchase them. Payments are done via eBay and we will never ask over messages for payments to be made outside of the platform via other methods. All sales are done through eBay and eBay only to ensure you as a buyer and us as a seller are protected.
Shipping	All cards, whether £1 or £100, are all penny sleeved, placed in a top loader, sealed in a team bag and send in cardboard-backed envelopes with "Do not bend" written on the front. We aim to send items out within two (2) working days of purchase, if we are unable to do this, we will always let you know promptly. At Red Hart Games, we do our best to ensure your cards are protected while in transit, but once cards are with postal services, we cannot be responsible for what happens to them until they reach you. If for any reason your cards arrive damaged, please contact us before leaving feedback as we would want to provide a replacement or offer a refund to ensure you have a positive customer experience with us.
Disclaimer	We know that collecting and playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game has changed in recent years with one of the biggest explosions in the hobby is people sending off cards to companies like PSA, BCG and Ace Grading etc. We understand that buyers now are often wanting cards with perfect centering, but we are not a grading company and with the volume of cards we handle on a daily basis, we cannot guarantee any cards sold by us will have perfect centering. We can send closer pictures of the card for you, but cannot guarantee our cards are "PSA 10" candidates. We hope you can understand.
