Tips for Applying Traction Pads:
CleaningRemove any wax, old traction pad adhesive residue, dust or sand from the board, make sure the surface is clean and dry. Use a little wax remover if necessary. | OutliningFind your ideal placement by positioning the pads on the tail of your board before you take the adhesive backing off, then trace the outline of the pads with a pencil or marker. | ApplyingPeel the adhesive backing off, do not let the glue get stuck in anything. Hover the pads above the outlined marks and slowly put them on the board. | StickingPress the pads down for 30 to 40 seconds and push out any air bubbles to ensure a solid stick. It's recommended to wait for 24 hours before surfing. |
