Features a tapering, rotund form, garnished with embossed rococo designs and a textured foliate bed beneath the centre Mythical beast, wielding a ring above its head with 14 holes for toothpick placement. Marked with Christofle stamps along the underside. Highly sought after piece, and a rare design.
