A rare original etching on laid Japan paper by James Whistler titled “Nursemaid and Child”, 1859. This is the second state of two with this version having the woman slightly smiling, Kennedy 37. A very nice print with a good impression. Very good condition overall with some light toning and light wear. It is housed and matted in a contemporary gilt frame, both in good condition.
