Texture plate are used in rolling mill or hydraulic press. For getting a fine texture to your material, weather its a sheet, wire, earrings, rings, bangles, etc.

Cold rolled steel.
2.5" X 6" X 1/8"

Can be used in a rolling mill or hydraulic press. Metal will need to be annealed first for a much better impression.
If using in a rolling mill first, do not use in hydraulic press. The plate over time that is used in a rolling mill will start to curve. It is still usable if this happens.

Variety of Designs: Texture plates come in a wide range of designs and patterns, allowing artisans to choose textures that suit their artistic vision. These designs can include anything from simple lines and dots to complex organic textures.

Material: Texture plates are usually made from hardened steel, which is durable and able to withstand the pressure exerted by rolling mills and hydraulic presses. This ensures that the texture plate will maintain its integrity and usability over time.

Compatibility: Texture plates are specifically designed to be compatible with rolling mills and hydraulic presses. They are made to fit into the rollers of a rolling mill or to be placed between metal sheets in a hydraulic press.

Size: Texture plates come in various sizes, ranging from smaller plates suitable for jewelry-making to larger plates for more substantial metal projects.

Ease of Use: Using a texture plate is relatively straightforward. The metal sheet (such as copper) is placed between the texture plate and another flat surface, and then pressure is applied through the rolling mill or hydraulic press. The metal sheet takes on the texture of the plate's design.

Versatility: Texture plates can be used on a variety of metals, including copper, silver, brass, and more. They allow artists to experiment with different metals and textures to achieve unique results.

Artistic Applications: Texture plates offer a way to add dimension, depth, and visual interest to metal projects. They are commonly used in jewelry-making to create components like earrings, pendants, and bracelets. They can also be used in larger-scale metalwork for decorative pieces and sculptures.

Customization: Some manufacturers and artisans offer custom texture plate designs, allowing artists to create their own unique textures and patterns for a truly personalized touch.

Maintenance: Texture plates should be kept clean and free from debris to ensure the best results. After use, they can be wiped down with a soft cloth to remove any metal shavings or residue.

Description: A texture plate is typically a flat piece of metal or other durable material that has intricate designs, patterns, or textures engraved or etched onto its surface. These designs can range from geometric patterns to nature-inspired motifs, abstract shapes, and more. The texture plate is designed to be used with a rolling mill or hydraulic press to transfer the texture onto a metal sheet, such as copper.
