This wonderful old primitive wooden dough bowl is unmarked. It has a great old age patina. You can see all the utensil marks from years of use, there are three small cracks on the outside one on the side and two on the bottom, and one small crack on the inside bottom (none go all the way through). You can see a few paint drops, where the bowl was probably sitting on a counter when the walls in a kitchen were being painted and the paint splattered. There are few darker lines in the bowl as well.

The bowl is oval in shape and measures approximately 13 3/8 inches x 12 inches, and stands approximately 3 1/2 inches tall. It is approximately 1/4 inches thick. It does have a large band around the outside top edge that measures approximately 2 inches wide.

This is a great old piece of vintage Americana. It could still be used to hold fruit, or Christmas ornaments during the holidays, line with a cloth to hold bread hot out of the oven. Or simply display it with other vintage kitchen collectibles. This one will ship at a 4 pound rate once it has been properly packaged for shipping.
