In 1943 Tomato Golden Jubilee was introduced as an All-America Selection (AAS). The globe-shaped, golden-orange fruit produces large tomatoes with thick walls housing few seeds and a mild taste, much like Sunray. Its indeterminate vines require sturdy staking or caging yet are adaptable throughout the United States except in most northern areas. Moreover, it is resistant to alternaria stem canker.
