Obergruppenfuhrer/General - Camo rank sleeve insignia

Description

High-quality reproduction German WW2 Obergruppenfuhrer/General camouflage rank sleeve insignia.

First introduced by the Heer in August 1942 and later by the German Elite in February 1943, the new system of camouflage ranks was designed to be worn on uniforms which did not have traditional shoulder boards. These included winter parkas and camouflage smocks among other items of clothing. The new system made it easy to identify officers and senior NCOs quickly on the battlefield, aiding communication. The insignia was worn on the upper left sleeve of the appropriate uniform.

Our excellent reproductions are of high quality and are made to look exactly like the originals. These are great items for anyone looking to add an extra level of detail and authenticity to their German WW2 uniform.
