The 45mm diameter dial has a 175mm probe and is supplied with a stainless steel jug mounting probe clip.
The milk thermometer has ice test and boil test markers at 0°C and 100°C, the purpose of which is to prove that the unit is working by checking the pointer moves across the scale.
