Presenting a piece of WWII history!

A Japanese Medical Chest with battle damage to the front right.  Includes leather straps across the top.

The chest was a Japanese service members, recovered by U.S. forces that was ultimately sent to the Phillipines.  It was then shipped back to the U.S after the war was over where it sat in a basement in Indiana for over 80 years.

The small piece of wood with Japanese writing on it was the name of the person who carried this chest with him from battle to battle.  The writing on the paper placard, (in Japanese), attached to the underside of the lid spelled out every item that was included in the kit (not present with chest).

The only other one that can be found is currently at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History located in Washington D.C.

Do not miss this chance to own an authentic piece of American history!

As always, free shipping.  Item is heavy.
