A magical microphone processor that turns your cajón into an electronic cajón

The EC-10M is a cajon-specific microphone processor that picks up the sound of an acoustic cajon with a dedicated clip microphone and layers it with built-in tones. The EC-10M has an extensive built-in tone kit that includes percussion instruments such as tambourines, surdos, and splash cymbals, as well as acoustic and electric drum sounds. It will greatly enhance the expressive power of your cajon.

Just attach the dedicated clip microphone to the electronic cajon.

Setting up is very easy. Simply attach the included clip microphone to the sound hole. The microphone input sound is automatically analyzed and two types of tones are sounded depending on the position (edge/head) where the player strikes the surface of the cajon. Also, by stepping on the foot buttons A and B on the main unit with your foot, you can make cowbell and splash cymbal sounds. New and unprecedented expressions are possible.

Lightweight, compact, and battery-powered

The main unit is lightweight and compact, weighing only 500 g. It is also battery-operated. It can be easily taken to live performances. The EC-10M can also be used as a preamplifier to output the sound of an acoustic cajon. PA setups at live houses can be completed quickly and space-saving with the clip-on condenser microphone.

A number of functions that come in handy at live sites

Up to two kick triggers can be connected

Up to two optional kick trigger pads can be connected to the EC-10M. This allows you to play the tone assigned to foot button A/B in the same way as pressing the kick pedal on a drum set.

Two output jacks

Two output jacks, "MIC/MIX" and "ELECTRONIC," allow independent output of the acoustic cajon sound from the microphone input and the built-in tone, allowing the PA side to adjust the balance between the microphone input and the built-in tone.

Tone control knob

In addition to adjusting the microphone input sound with the gain knob, the compressor knob and enhancement switch designed for acoustic cajon sound can be used to adjust the sound so that it is not buried in the band sound. You can send the sound to the PA in its optimum state, adjusted at your fingertips.

Performance using the loop function is also possible.

The loop function allows you to record a single phrase (*) and play it back in a loop. For example, you can record a simple rhythm phrase using tambourine or shaker tones, play it back on a loop, and enjoy playing along with it.

(*) Recorded phrases cannot be saved.

OK for mini cajones and acoustic guitars

The EC-10M can be used with trendy mini cajons and cardboard cajons. The possibilities are endless.
