    About these gorgeous dress boots... Firstly, I cannot in good conscience advertise these boots as new, due to the fact that my friend purchased them and owned them for over a year. I cannot honestly say that I know these boots were never worn by my friend. She may have been super-secretive about wearing them, as well as crazy-good at keeping them as immaculate. I mean, I saw her daily, and she lived with me... but it's possible that she waited for me to leave before she put on the boots, went out dancing, riding, drinking, and tromping through the mud in them, then rushed home with enough time restore them before I made it back with groceries. It's possible. However, I would be shocked to find out she ever wore them anywhere, beyond trying them on and maybe walking around her bedroom to see how they fit or looked with an outfit. I did see her pull out everything leather every 3 months and condition it with a leather cleaning lotion or leather polish, depending on the item.

    These boots, like a very many things my friend left behind, she purchased believing that there was (and would be) time upon time for her to wear or use it. Sadly, she ran out of time last month, (July) and I can all but swear to you, she never got to strut her stuff in these boots. I know she would agree with me when I say that someone should strut around in them. I can't fit in them, or it would be me.

    So, yes... to me, these boots appear to brand spanking new and unworn beyond being tried on inside. I found zero wear, no rips, no stretching of material, no fading, no scratches, no embedded gravel or concrete, no built up dirt, and no dust. I'm sure you won't find any of this either, but if you do, the boots in this listing are described as being in excellent condition with no damage, no wear, no defects, and eBay money back guarantee promises a refund for items purchased that have been misrepresented in their listing (are not as described). 

   

    These boots were in a dry, very clean, climate-controlled closet of a home that has always been occupied. They were on a shelf with space of their own, not squished up or misshapen by being packed in with other stuff. The inside toes of both boots were stuffed with clean tissue paper, the middles had cardboard shoe shapers, and the tops were stuffed with more tissue paper. The buckles were wrapped in the Harley-Davidson tissue paper from the shoe box they came in was wrapped around the harness metal, and around the outside of the boots.

     There is no box for these boots. She didn't like shoe boxes, so instead opted for dust-free, thick, plastic cases for storing shoes. I'll replace the tissue paper and shoe shapers exactly as it was, and I will happily ship the boots in the very nice plastic case in which they were found.

    To ensure the leather is broken in/worn in correctly and will fit your feet without causing foot pain and/or blisters ~ please MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE that you always strut your stuff in these boots!
