The CH-1 is a chorus with a wide frequency range and a clear, crisp sound, with controls for RATE and DEPTH, as well as EQ and E.LEVEL that allow adjustment of the effect sound only. The direct sound is maintained in its original quality, allowing you to tune the sound so that it does not become buried in the ensemble. The two output jacks also provide an enveloping stereo effect with spatial synthesis.

The CH-1 features a wide range of chorus, and its four controllers are designed to make it easy to achieve a beautiful sound in any setting.

Controls only the effect sound

The EQ knob acts as a low-pass filter that cuts the bandwidth above a specified point. A modest setting produces a gentle effect with little modulation, and as you increase the value clockwise, the sound becomes more shimmering and varied. The E.LEVEL controls the volume of the effect, making it easy to adjust it to meet your needs, from a light chorus with a natural feel to a beautiful deep sound.

Stereo out with BOSS/Roland's traditional spatial synthesis method

The Roland JC-120 guitar amp, a favorite of guitarists around the world, is known for its fully stereo circuitry. The CH-1 is equipped with a stereo out jack that uses the same spatial synthesis method as the JC-120. The CH-1 is equipped with a stereo out terminal that uses the JC-120's direct spatial synthesis method. The CH-1 is designed to produce an enveloping stereo sound image.
