R12 MULTITRAK

Compact and mobile, the R12 MultiTrak allows recording, editing, and mixing without a computer. The graphical, full-color touchscreen display allows you to cut, copy, loop, and edit tracks.

Clear Sound

Two XLR/TRS combo inputs with high-quality preamps of low-noise design and eight audio tracks. It is capable of recording all kinds of music, from demo creation to fully packaged, release-ready productions.

Fully Equipped

Reverb, chorus, and delay send effect channels with dedicated effects return faders. Insert effects such as guitar/bass amp modeling are also built in, and additional effects and presets are available online through the Guitar Lab app for PC/Mac.

It also has a pan and 3-band EQ on each track and a compressor on INPUT1/2.

Take it with you wherever you go.

Powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries for approximately 5 hours. In addition, it can be powered by the included AC adapter (AD-17) or USB mobile battery, allowing you to create music anywhere and everywhere.

For synchronized playback of live performances

Create a set list of songs to play at your next gig using the Sequence Play function, which plays any project in succession. You can have "R12" play backtracks (accompaniments) for both live performances and rehearsals.

Rhythm Loop" has 150 built-in rhythm loops that can be selected by song structure, such as intro and chorus, etc. Compatible with 30 different genres, you can build a groovy rhythm track by simply dragging and dropping them together.

WAV import

WAV files on a microSD card or USB memory can be imported as regions. Sound sources on a computer can be added to audio tracks.

From headphones to monitors

A stereo mini headphone output and a standard phone monitor output are provided.

DAW Recording

The USB-C connection can be used as a 2-in-4-out or 2-in-2-out USB audio interface for PC/Mac/iPhone/iPad.

In addition, as a Mackie Control-compatible control surface, the R12 can be used to physically control faders and transports on DAW software using the physical faders and buttons on the R12 itself.

A Click for the Performer

The click function, which can be activated at any time with a dedicated button, can be output only to the performer's headphones, and the balance knob can be used to blend the backtrack (MASTER) and the click sound (CLICK) in the desired balance for the drummer's headphones for use in live performance. This can be used for playback of synchronized sound sources.

Add color with synths

The R12 MULTITRAK features 18 built-in FM synths that can be played on an external MIDI keyboard via USB-C connection, programmed using the touchscreen, or added as synth tracks to add color to your songs.
