Newly developed reverb algorithm

The reverb algorithm onboard the RV-6 was newly developed for the RV-6. The clarity and transparency of the reverb sound is far beyond the standards of its class. The high-quality sound matches all genres/styles of music and can be fully utilized for aggressive sound creation.

8 modes with a wide variety of reverbs

In addition to the standard "ROOM," "HALL," and "PLATE," a total of eight modes are provided, including "+DELAY," which combines delay, and "SPRING," which simulates the spring reverb of a guitar amplifier. In addition to "SHIMMER," which produces fantastically beautiful reverberations, and "DYNAMIC," which automatically changes the depth of the reverb, "MODULATE," which adds a shimmering effect, and other modern effects sounds are available as desired. The wide range of variations will inspire guitarists to create new sounds.

Intuitive sound creation with 3 knobs

Like other BOSS compacts, sound creation is very simple. After selecting a mode, simply adjust the "LEVEL," "TONE," and "TIME" knobs. In response to this intuitive operation, precise processing is performed inside the RV-6 to optimize the output sound. You can get the best sound at any time, according to your feeling at that moment.

Control the depth of reverb with your feet.

By connecting an expression pedal (Roland EV-5, sold separately), the reverb can be controlled with your feet. You can freely use the pedal to add real-time intonation, which was difficult with conventional reverb pedals. This allows for creative performances that set you apart from other guitarists.

Reverb Modes

Reverb + DELAY: A reverb combined with a delay. The synergistic effect produces a rich reverberant sound.

SHIMMER: A reverb characterized by the sparkling high notes. It produces a fantastic reverberant sound surrounded by an expanse of overtones.

DYNAMIC: A reverb that automatically adjusts the depth of the effect according to the performance. It produces a deep reverberant sound without losing the contours of the entire performance.

ROOM: This reverb simulates the reverberation in a room. It produces a warm reverberant sound.

HALL: A reverb that simulates the reverberation in a hall. It produces a clear and spacious reverberation sound.

PLATE: This reverb simulates a plate reverb (a reverb unit that uses the vibration of metal plates). It produces a metallic sound with extended high frequencies.

SPRING: Simulates a spring reverb built into a guitar amplifier.

MODULATE: This reverb adds fluctuation to the reverberation of a hall, creating a very pleasant reverberation sound.
