Equalizer with simple operation and uncompromising sound quality in a sophisticated body

BOSS's 200 Series is a next-generation pedal that offers high-quality sound and high versatility in a compact size design for easy pedalboard layout. The simple-to-use control knobs and multifunction footswitches make sound creation intuitive and easy. All models in the 200 Series offer best-in-class sound quality thanks to advanced internal 32-bit floating-point processing. The 200 Series also offers a full range of control functions via external footswitch, expression pedal, and MIDI connection.

The EQ-200 Graphic Equalizer is an extremely flexible guitar/bass equalizer. It features two wide-range 10-band equalizers. A built-in, highly visible LCD display allows you to instantly check the equalization status. The two EQs can be used in parallel or series connection. The 10-band center frequency can be selected from three types for the best setting for your instrument.

Version 1.1 Update: Expanded User Memory

The Version 1.1 update further enhances the flexibility of the 200 Series. The internal memory has been enhanced, greatly expanding the number of user memories, including manual settings, from 5 to 128. Stored memories can be quickly accessed via the pedal switch or directly recalled from an external MIDI device via program change.

The Version 1.1 update can be downloaded free of charge from the DOWNLOADS page of each 200 Series product.

Two 10-band EQ systems

The EQ-200 is an equalizer that combines a sophisticated design, advanced 32-bit/96 kHz processing, and superior sound quality with an ultra-low noise design, all of which combine to provide a thorough specification and precise tone control. Each EQ band can be boosted or cut by up to 15 dB. The center frequency of the EQ bands can be selected from three types. The EQ band can be selected from three types of center frequencies for optimum equalization for all instruments, from electric guitars to acoustic guitars, basses, and keyboards.

Variable Signal Flow and Insert Connections

The EQ-200's signal flow is highly versatile. Each EQ channel can be used as a stereo link or independently. The two EQs can be used to further refine your favorite overdrive or distortion pedal. When connected in series, the first stage EQ can be used to create backing sounds, while the second stage EQ can be used to create a clean lead sound.

Simple interface and highly visible EQ display

The EQ-200 is the definitive equalizer for intuitive and speedy control: the 10-band center frequency and master channel level can be adjusted directly with the sliders, and the highly visible display provides an overview of the EQ curve at a glance. 2. The two channels can be switched instantly using dedicated buttons on the panel. Even the most precise settings can be made instantly and efficiently. A panel lock function prevents accidental changes to the settings during performance.

Save/Recall Favorite Settings

Sounds meticulously set up with the EQ-200 can be stored in 127 user memories. When combined with the manual settings that reflect the settings on the panel, a total of 128 sounds can be switched. The footswitch on the main unit can be used not only for sequential memory switching, but also for selecting the range of switching, specifying a memory number for direct recall, and other actions according to the player's needs. It is also ideal for integrated control.

Highly flexible real-time control

The footswitch on the main unit can be assigned any function, such as EQ bypass, memory scrolling, channel EQ on/off, or direct access to a specific memory. An external footswitch can also be connected to expand the functions controlled by your feet. When an expression pedal is connected, the total level can be assigned and used as a volume pedal, or the volume level of channel A alone can be controlled for precise real-time control. A space-saving stereo mini-jack MIDI input/output jack allows control via an external MIDI controller, or by selecting multiple 200 Series memories in a chain at once.
