The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Consort Camilla took place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey. Canada did Not issue a Coronation stamp (a definitive stamp was issued on Monday 8 May).  As for previous years the 1c MacDonald precancels were overprinted with one stamp for the show and one stamp for the coronation of Charles.
